Southside Woodworks is a social enterprise that creates beautiful crafted goods, while providing sustainable employment for low-income residents of Asheville. When they started mapping out their business plan, they knew they needed a powerful brand and help telling their story.
The logo was made to look as it it were literally built out of boards, to represent the nature of their products. This flat black and white approach allows for the brand to be easily transferred into a variety of mediums, including burnt onto their wooden products.
In collaboration with Leanna Miller, a verbal branding blueprint was created along with a social media strategy to get them started.
